Supported 50 Unix machines and 20 Windows machines in an uptime critical environment during a film production. Worked to resolve network and disk issues, as well as troubleshoot proprietary technology issues. Aided in keeping all end users productive and film production moving. Ensured data redundancy and security. Worked on several Documentary Film / TV projects, including Producing my own feature length Documentary. Sole support for Non-profit company with offices in SF, NYC, DC, London, India, Cambodia, Thailand. Support for Windows 2000 servers (Active Directory), Debian & Redhat Linux servers, Windows 2000/XP desktops, and the entire US-based network. Editing/cataloging of video footage (including DVD authoring), and editing/cataloging of digital still images for publication online and in various offline print publications.

Worked on various film/TV projects as: Cinematographer, Gaffer, Camera Operator, Electrician, Grip, Assistant Art Director, Assistant Stunt Co-ordinator, Assistant Production Co-ordinator, and Transportation.

Sole support for 40 Linux (Redhat 6.x, 7.0) machines, 100 Win98/NT/2000 machines, 6 Macintosh machines, and 95 users. Monitored, fixed and updated 35+ critical internal Solaris x86 servers to achieve 99.8% uptime. Planned and implemented corporate level anti-virus and backup solutions. Aided my team in installing and monitoring 40+ production Solaris servers at an Exodus co-location facility.

Implemented and maintained a fully switched network with several Solaris, Linux,Windows NT, Novell, and MS Exchange servers; Linux (Redhat 6.x), Windows NT, and Macintosh workstations. Sole computer support for 70+ machines, 55 users. Maintained 24/7 uptime of all critical servers. Designed and executed corporate anti-virus solution. Planned and taught user training sessions on several new applications.

Responsible for enterprise installation of Solaris 2.x within a high availability clustered environment of Sun Ultra Enterprise class machines. Installed, monitored and maintained in house NT servers. Deployment of SpectrumGraph and NetCool for SNMP-based network monitoring.

Managed a heterogeneous environment of Windows NT, Linux, and Novell servers. Responsible for initial system architecture, deployment and maintenance of all system environments. Supported 35 desktop Windows machines and 40 users.

Systems Administrator in charge of a large-scale deployment of Novell 3.12 and Windows NT 3.51 servers. Oversaw creation of departmental web site and upkeep of existing web applications.

In charge of the departmental Novell 3.12 servers; maintenance, upgrades, and patches. Implemented various applications for data centralization. Made purchasing decisions on systems, hardware and software. Also rendered support for 30+ users and desktop machines.

Built, diagnosed and repaired Intel-based computers for customers. Involved in small-scale projects related to the deployment of x86-based networking solutions (Novell, Lantastic, Windows).
